Job Description:
Wilson-Garner Company is a family-owned fastener manufacturer located in Harrison Township, Michigan. We are seeking two employees to work in our machine shop. We are a small volume shop that specializes in making bolts, screws, and studs.
We are looking for a candidate with experience operating Waterbury and Reed thread rollers.
We are also looking for a candidate with experience operating metal-forming hydraulic presses.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines
- Setup and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Operation monitoring — watching gages, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
